Crêpe Cake

Who doesn't like crêpes!? The very talent @purr_gas created this recipe for our #mantrafoodschef cooking competition. 


For the crêpe:
2 1/2 cup flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 x 180 ml @mantrafoodsmu Walnut milk 
2 tsp vanilla essence 
1/2 cup water 
1 pinch salt

For the buttercream:
1 cup unsalted butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 can condensed milk


1. Mix all the dry ingredients together & add the milk and water for desired consistency
2. Add a big spoonful of the batter to a pan & let cook on low flame
3. Flip the crêpe between a minute’s interval until cooked
4. For the buttercream, add the butter in a bowl & stir vigorously with an electric mixer/whisk
5. Add the vanilla essence & condensed milk & mix continuously until the cream thickens
6. Arrange the crêpes & buttercream alternatively
7. Decorate accordingly! We used cherries, bananas, choco chips & sauce, and powdered sugar
